Meet Miss UGA
Meet Audrey Kittila – Miss UGA 2022
Audrey Kittila is a first-year student from Milton, Georgia majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is the daughter of Christopher and Brenda Kittila. Her career ambition is to obtain a Masters in Speech Pathology and become a Speech Language Pathologist.
Audrey graduated in May 2021 from Cambridge High School in Milton. She is a very musical person, playing the piano since she was 5 years old and playing the violin since she was 7 years old. She also plays the ukulele and sings. In high school she was co-president of the Cambridge HS Orchestra. For her talent at the Miss UGA Competition she played the violin and sang to Charlie Daniel’s classic hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”.
She has served as a Worship Leader at the First Baptist Church of Alpharetta, Beech Haven Church in Athens, and the UGA Baptist Campus Ministries. Audrey is a member of the UGA Agency, an on-campus modeling agency and has done runway shows at the America’s Mart in Atlanta. She has also worked with a few local dress shops as a social media model. She is the recipient of several scholarships including the Zell Miller Academic Scholarship.
Audrey’s Social Impact Initiative is “Education for All”. Her passion is empowering children and those with special need, especially children in the autism community. She would like to use her title as Miss University of Georgia to help educate students and parents about the importance of staying in school, to empower kids to pursue their career dreams and to prioritize using their education to accomplish their goals.
Audrey is scheduled to compete in the 77th Annual Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition in June in Columbus; the winner of that competition will represent Georgia in the 2022 Miss America Competition.
The Miss University of Georgia Competition is a program of the Department of Engagement, Leadership and Service.
