LEADERSHIP UGA: LIFELONG LEADERS

About the Program

Leadership UGA, established in 1985, provides students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, interact with campus and community leaders, and become more aware of the issues facing our campus, community, state, nation, and world.

Hosted in collaboration with the UGA Career Center, Lifelong Leaders is a cohort-based program designed for experienced undergraduate student leaders interested in exploring leadership as a lifelong practice and career skill. You will participate in one-on-one strengths coaching and an introduction to career development resources. By participating in Leadership UGA: Lifelong Leaders, students will:

  1. Analyze their strengths and areas for further development as they relate to their leadership practice.
  2. Identify their purpose and unique contributions as a leader.
  3. Integrate learning into a personalized development plan for ongoing leadership learning.

FALL 2026 MEETING SCHEDULE

Leadership UGA: Lifelong Leaders will meet six times throughout the Fall 2026 semester. Meetings are hosted on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Tate Student Center.

How to Join

Applications for Leadership UGA: Lifelong Leaders will open in August 2026. Follow us on Instagram (@UGAEngagement) for updates on application deadlines and how to apply to be a part of Leadership UGA! 

Leadership UGA: Lifelong Leaders participants should expect to participate in 6 biweekly meetings during the fall semester and complete corresponding pre-work on eLC before each meeting. Meetings are held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Tate Student Center on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, September 8
  • Tuesday, September 22
  • Tuesday, October 6
  • Tuesday, October 20
  • Tuesday, November 3
  • Tuesday, November 17
