ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The Miss University of Georgia Pageant is a program that has existed for over 100 years on campus. Applications for the 2025 Miss UGA Pageant will be available from September 30 thru November 30, 2024. The 2025 Miss UGA Pageant will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the Fine Arts Theatre. The pageant is an official Miss America Preliminary and is sponsored by the Department of Engagement, Leadership and Service
INFORMATION FOR CONTESTANTS
The Miss University of Georgia Pageant is open to any UGA woman who is enrolled in the 2024-2025 school year. There will be a $75.00 (non-refundable) entry fee due no later than November 30, 2024. The application is below and is due no later than November 30, 2024.

Eligibility
- Age – You must be 18 years old and no older than 27 at the time of the Miss Georgia Pageant in June 2025.
- Be a United States Citizen
- Single
- No legal dependents
- Be a University of Georgia student enrolled Fall Semester 2024 and Spring Semester 2025
What I need to Know and do to Enter?
- Submit an application prior to November 30, 2024
- Pay a $75.00 entry fee no later than November 30, 2024
- Go to Forms and Information – print out and complete the required forms- bring to them to a required contestant meeting on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 6:30 in room 145 Tate Center.
What is involved in Participation
- The Miss University of Georgia Pageant is a local preliminary of the Miss America Organization. The winner of this local pageant will move on to compete in the Miss Georgia Pageant held in Columbus, Georgia in June 2025.
- The new Miss University of Georgia will be required to attend the Miss Georgia Orientation Forum meeting the first weekend in March, 2025 held in Columbus, Georgia.
- The Miss University of Georgia Pageant will consist of several phases of competition to be judged by a panel of five men and women
- Private 10 minute interview on Saturday, January 18, 2025
- On-Stage competition on Saturday, January 18, 2025 consisting of
- Talent (90 seconds)
- Health & Fitness (model in RED fitness or workout attire)
- Evening Gown (model your own selection)
- On Stage Conversation (a question asked by the emcee)
- Interested participants may attend an information meeting on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 2:30 in the Tate Student Center to receive information regarding the pageant.
- All contestants who have entered the pageant will be required to attend a meeting on Tuesday, January 7 to turn in all documents and paperwork.
- Contestants will be required to attend 2 rehearsals.
- The $75.00 entry fee must be paid no later than November 30, 2024.
MEET MISS UGA
Carson Bridges is a 21 year old fourth year student from Carnesville, GA majoring in Human Development and Family Science. Her career ambition is to become an Occupational Therapist focusing on Pediatrics. Carson has been involved in numerous campus activities including the Red Hotz Competition Dance Team, the Georgettes Dance Team, UGA Baptist Student Ministry, and the UGA Homecoming Executive Committee. Her Community Service Initiative is SPARC, the social initiative to get vital information to parents for the best start for their children.
FORMS & INFORMATION
Forms and important information for 2025 contestants will be available on October 1, 2024. These forms and documents must be turned in at a meeting on January 7, 2025.
