This is the University’s official welcome to you and your family. Of course, we have to show off our UGA spirit. Enjoy refreshments and brunch while listening to a few keynote remarks from university leadership, including President Morehead, Vice President of Student Affairs Dr. Michelle Garfield Cook, and others.
It may be an away game, but this is going to be an epic tailgate you will NOT want to miss, complete with all the usual athletic traditions, Family Fun Zone, BBQ buffet, and more. Get ready to watch the Bulldog vs Bulldog matchup. Doors open 30 minutes before kickoff.

As you prepare for your Family Weekend, we encourage you to download the Welcome to UGA mobile app (used for New Student Orientation), in the Apple App Store and Google Play. The app will contain the schedule for Family Weekend, information on Athens resources, and other useful details for your memorable weekend.
