UGA Engagement Fair hosts 400+ student organizations across two nights
The University of Georgia Department of Engagement, Leadership, and Service held their annual engagement fair at Tate Student Center on Jan. 27 and Jan. 29. Students were able to visit club stations, chat with peers and connect with attendees from 7 to 10 p.m. each night.
“I remember coming in as a freshman and leaving with maybe 20 different flyers from different clubs,” Nova Senkyrik, a senior entertainment and media studies major and the general manager of WUOG said. ”I was just blown away by the amount of stuff you could do.”
The fair featured over 200 unique student clubs and organizations each night, totalling over 400 groups. The event also had free food, drinks, t-shirts and giveaways available to attendees.
