Registration as a student organization signifies a willingness on the part of the student organization to comply with state law and the rules, regulations, and policies of the University and the Board of Regents. This page, though not all inclusive, provides access to policies that are frequently referenced by registered student organizations.

Student Organization Manual

Registered student organizations are responsible for knowing all information in the Student Organization Manual.

Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct describes regulations for behavior and provides information regarding alleged violations of conduct regulations.

Solicitation Policy

Student organizations must adhere to the UGA Solicitation Policy when collecting money or resources on campus. 

Trademark Policy

Registered student organizations may only access UGA Trademarks by following the appropriate procedures and securing approval for use.

Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy

Every member of the University Community is expected to uphold the Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy as a matter of mutual respect and fundamental fairness in human relations.

Hazing Policy

Hazing is defined as any intentional, negligent or reckless action or situation that causes another pain, embarrassment, ridicule or harassment, regardless of the individual’s willingness.
